The PortsWood Hotel is located next to its sister hotel, The Commodore, in the heart of beautiful Cape Town, South Africa's 'Mother City'.

Cape Town is surrounded by ancient mountains, some of which appear to rise out of the deep Atlantic Ocean, others fringe the edge of the city and are tipped with snow for part of the year.

Take a ride up or down Table Mountain in a revolving cable car, visit a few of our many historical wine estates, some of which are nestled in the valleys within easy reach in the metropolitan area.
